The Innovator Founder Visa is designed for experienced or first-time entrepreneurs who want to establish an innovative business in the UK. Your business idea must be new, different and able to grow.
Before applying for the visa, your business must be assessed and endorsed by an approved endorsing body. The endorsing body decides whether your business meets the criteria. TerraNouva provides preparation and advisory support, but does not control endorsement or immigration decisions.
Innovation
Your business idea must be new and offer something different from what is already on the market.
Viability
You need the skills, knowledge and market awareness to run the business successfully.
Scalability
The business must show potential for job creation and growth into national and international markets.
Endorsement
An approved endorsing body must assess and endorse your business before you apply for the visa.
Founder involvement
You must be actively involved in running the business day to day.
English language
You must meet the English language requirement set for the route.
Financial requirements
You must show you can support yourself in the UK, unless exempt, alongside the relevant fees.
Settlement
A potential route to settlement after three years, subject to meeting the relevant endorsement and business criteria.
